God is infinite in all ways and we cannot even really comprehend the idea of infinity much less its application to time, space, knowledge and power. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.” We can only understand God to the degree to which He has revealed Himself and that we are capable of comprehension, for even some of the things He has revealed about Himself are so removed from human experience that we cannot even properly imagine it. As God Himself declared in Isaiah 55:8-9, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.
The last couple of weeks I have been emphasizing that the nature and character of God is beyond our full comprehension because He is a self-existent spiritual being who is infinite, and we are but finite creatures entrapped in the space-time continuum.
